CHARLOTTE, NC – RevTech Labs is welcoming its 14th fintech and insurtech cohort. CFV Ventures, a partner of RevTech Labs, will be investing in nine startups from the U.S. and Canada that were selected by RevTech Labs.
The nine startups making up Class 14 represent a range of solutions across both the fintech and insurtech verticals. The RevTech Labs team recruited more than 6,000 companies from around the world, narrowing the numbers down to 81 through an internal screening process and selecting only nine final companies after hosting a Selection Week with their program partners and sponsors. Speaking of the importance of RevTech Labs’ bank partners and investor network, Nish Krishna, CEO of Lend-Grow, noted, “Lend-Grow plans to open access to its platform to bank partners in the coming months. RevTech Labs’ unique location in Charlotte will be valuable for us to connect with bank partners and get their inputs early on in shaping Lend-Grow‘s platform.”
The RevTech Labs program provides Founders with access to investment capital as well as an advisory board and task force made up of some of the industry’s top leaders and executives. “Our program stands at the center of entrepreneurs, corporations and venture capital,” said Ashley Everett, Program Director at RevTech Labs. “We strategically match our Founders with executives and subject matter experts to work on specific long-term and short-term objectives, while giving the Founders the funding they need to support their business throughout the 12 weeks.”
The beginning of the program kicked off on March 23, with a virtual Welcome Party. With 800 mentors and 50 corporate partners invited, the Welcome Party serves as an introduction to the robust Charlotte ecosystem while providing attendees an opportunity to hear how to best support each company during their time in the program. “Coming off our recognition as one of the top 5 global Fintech accelerators in the world by Finovate, we have seen an incredibly strong application process with one of our best cohorts yet in these companies,” said Dan Roselli, Co-founder and Managing Director of RevTech Labs.
Lend-Grow is an online lending marketplace connecting borrowers with harder-to-find community banks to offer the best deals on loans. Borrowers can check their rates in less than two minutes and get matched with the lender that has the best deal for their needs. Lend-Grow currently offers student loan refinancing, with more loan types coming soon.
